Greetings Wonderful Partners and Brethren. We thank God for the beginning of a new week. This morning I feel like encouraging about holding on to Godly Perspective. I like teaching about perspective if you recall my teaching on the previous issues of The Extended Grace.
Perspective is basically how you look at things and your thoughts about them. As believers and God’s children we need to hold to God’s perspective of things as revealed by the Scriptures. What I want to focus upon is on the subject of Death. Now of late people are dying and some are losing their love one in a rapid succession due to Covid-19. As God’s people we need to remember that death has no final word when coming to everything.
God’s perspective teaches us God is the Only One who has the last word to everything. John in the book of Revelation 21:1-8, records some of the encouraging words, which talks about future without death, pain, crying or mourning and that things as we know them they are going to pass away and new order of things will take place. This thought and perspective give us hope and confidence that the future is something to look forward to.
Death as the enemy of God is defeated and is going to be destroyed forever by God. Revelation 20:14-15; Revelation 1:17-18 and Hebrews 2:14-15.
Hope this will help bring about encouragement and comfort for those who lost their love ones and perspective to those who are baffled with how this pandemic is killing people. Stay blessed everyone.
