The race is on for Soweto entrepreneurs with interest in the beauty industry. Havillah Beauty, one of the well known and popular brands in cosmetics has launched a recruitment drive for more independent agents in Soweto for its beauty products of Make-up, Skin Care, Nails, Hair pieces and Eye lashes.
With the rising unemployment and tough business operations this challenge could be an opportunity for entrepreneurship or diversification. According to Mabel Ledwaba, founder of Havillah, the current challenge targets to sell 5 000 pairs make-up foundation and powder to Make-upreneurs in Soweto to promote and encourage economic freedom. During this promotion Soweto Make-upreneurs can purchase each make-up foundation pair package from R230 discounted from the normal price in excess of R300 per pair.
