On a Sunday afternoon of the 28 November 2021, the Dukuduku games public draw and auction organized by Greater Krugersdorp in Mogale City together with stakeholders such as Sepotokele funeral Parlor, Vision View, Bora Stationary, Pub and Grill, Mogale City Steel Work, Metropolitan and Department of Sports, Art, Culture and Recreation, took place at the Chief Mogale hall in Kagiso.
The event was attended by soccer fanatics from Mogale City and surrounds and beyond to as far as the Vaal municipalities. The 27 soccer branches represented their teams that will ply their trade in the tournament, as part as the draw where teams selected to play each other in categories under11, under13,15, under17 and under 21 at various venues.
The names of the selected branches are Small farm branch, Tshepisong branch, Mighty branch, Boipatong branch, Tshepong branch, Zone 6 branch, Sharpeville branch, Vereeniging branch, Beverly branch, Mkhelele branch, Parktown branch, Movango 6 branch, Sonnerwater branch, Zone 3 branch, Kawana branch, Gomora branch, Greater SWV branch, Munsienville branch, Greater Molapo branch, Arbs branch, Zone 7 Vaal branch, Zone 16 Vaal branch, Thalani/ Doornkop branch, Randfontein branch, NLO Smili branch, Greater S, branch and Brixton branch.
At the end of the draw, the last jersey of Joseph Makhanya was auctioned to raise funds for charity for the forthcoming year to the tune of R7000 as agreed with the former player of Orlando Pirates but the bid was unsuccessful and the jersey returned to the club house in Krugersdorp for another auction to take place again early next year. The winner from the senior ladies squad will take R10 000 prize while the under 21 will take R2 000 and under 17 taking R1000.
